Transformations

BEFORE:

I felt super inconsistent regarding the confidence I had in myself to get through any trial, big or small. I knew that there were some things from my past that were effecting the way I currently viewed things in life, and I was very confused and frustrated. I felt like I had no control over my thoughts, and I was letting the things I have gone through define me as a person.


I tried therapy a while back, which tremendously helped me at the time. However, as I look back on it, I was in survival mode with my therapist each session, focusing on getting through particular trials in a way that didn't provide any long-term solutions. I was at a point where I felt like I was "too damaged" and that my problems couldn't be fixed. That concern quickly went away after my first meeting with Jeannine :)


AFTER:

I feel 100% confident that I control my thoughts, and therefore my feelings and outcomes. I went from feeling like life had dealt me a bad hand in certain aspects, to realizing that I am stronger because of those trials and that I can use my experiences towards my own benefit. I feel so much more empowered knowing I have complete control over my brain and the way it thinks, as well as how I feel. I've learned that neither a person or a circumstance can make me feel a certain way. I remember during most of our meetings, I would sit there and think, "Why does no one know about this? This needs to be on a billboard or something!" I have told all of my friends about this program, desperately trying to do it justice by telling them how happy we can all be if we just knew a little bit more about our brains! 


Something else I love about this program is that I will have the workbook forever, with notes and worksheets to help me remember the things that I have learned. I have already, and know that I will continue to look back on it to help me whenever I feel I need a little extra boost.

BEFORE:

Before I started this program I was not happy with myself or my life. I felt like there was something I was doing wrong to cause the failure I was seeing in my life. I was blaming myself and shutting myself off from my friends and family. I felt like a failure, I felt disappointed, ashamed, and confused. I doubted myself and my ability to be successful in my social life and every other aspect.

I  tried ignoring it or just pushing it away and moving on with life. I'm very much the type of person who puts on a fake smile and hides the pain and sadness. I tried to fake it till I made it, bit I never made it. It just got worse.


AFTER:

This program was heaven sent! I am not the same person I was 8 weeks ago. I have learned so much about how my thoughts and feelings are connected. I no longer believe that there is something wrong with me. My life feels more bright, I feel more happy and light instead of doom and gloom. I feel more hopeful and excited to make connections with friends and family! The program has helped me feel more excited to be outgoing and love myself instead of worry about what others think of me.I feel more confident in myself and have a better perspective on things. My thinking is more positive and useful. I feel HAPPY!!

BEFORE:

I had a lot of self-doubt and doubt about life in general. I felt like I was just going through the  motions, not really living. I did not like this way of living but I did not know I could change it. I felt like I needed to reach my goals to be happy. It really robbed me from enjoying life and being an enjoyable person to be around. I tried to push through, not really having any solutions or coping mechanisms. It did not go well.


AFTER:

Holy cow, this program has changed me a lot! I love how I feel now, not because my life is all roses and unicorns, but because I have the tools I was looking for that would help me actually live and enjoy life and myself.  I now know how to question my brain and the way it thinks instead of accepting everything that comes from it. 


I'm actually really excited to see where I will take my life because of what I have learned. I am excited to navigate through uncomfortable situations. I feel more confident to deal with life and with emotions.  I am more of a doer rather than a passive observer of my life. I discovered that "I can and I will." I am content with myself and do not need as much external reassurance as before. It is a work in progress but it is going great!

BEFORE:

I was struggling very much with depression and anxiety and had many bad habits that felt overwhelming to me to address. I have been in therapy/counseling which helps with my depression but not as much with my anxiety. 


AFTER:

I have so much more compassion and love for myself. I learned how to take control of my anxiety and help myself feel more at peace and happy. I am making better habits of how I think and act. I hate feeling weak and overwhelmed and out of control, but I so quickly learned how to be in charge of my life and my feelings. Jeannine showed me how to take steps to a happier and richer life.

BEFORE:

I felt apprehensive and self-conscious. My bigger issues were discipline and follow through.


I had tried books and therapy. I think there were helpful things in each, but I did not quite get the same tools as I did with coaching. I was also a lot more honest with myself about where I was.


AFTER:

Now that I've finished the program I have more tools and resources to use at any given time. 

Jeannine was amazing to work with, she takes the time to listen to your needs and ensures understanding of what she coaches on. I highly recommend her 8 week course.

BEFORE:

Sometimes I just feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward. I’ve gathered information, brainstormed, and listed pros and cons, but still have a hard time making decisions.


AFTER:

It was especially effective to have a coach help me look at my current thinking and suggest new thoughts to consider. A new perspective can make all the difference, but it’s very difficult to do that by yourself when you’re stuck in a pattern of thinking. Also, I really liked the weekly topics and lessons. Jeannine was an excellent teacher and made the ideas so relevant and understandable. I took lots of notes and will refer back to them!


If you are feeling stuck, or just need someone to guide you through some of life’s messiness, I recommend Jeannine wholeheartedly. Her intuition, insight, experience and common sense work together to make her an excellent coach. She has a combination of wisdom, grace, and spunkiness that make her very likable and helpful. I can not think of anyone I would trust more to be my life coach.
